Human Resources Manager

Contracted Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £23,000 - £25,000 (rising incrementally)

Role Overview

The role of the Human Resources Manager is to oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes, supporting business needs and ensuring the effective implementation of company strategies and objectives.

The goal is to promote the organisations values and enable business success through human resources management, including (but not limited to) recruitment, performance management, training & development and operational development.

  • Excellent people skills
  • Experience with holding investigations and disciplinary / capability hearings
  • Sensitivity in Handling Confidential Issues
  • Organised, methodical, logical
  • Confident / able to work under pressure
  • A clear communicator
  • Able to use own initiative 
  • Reliable
  • Flexible / adaptable
  • Able to work in a team or alone
  • Imaginative / creative
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Able to prioritise, plan and organise workload
  • Enthusiastic, with a commitment to providing a high quality service
  • An ability to deal appropriately with sensitive or difficult situations with clients/customers, employees and members of the public
  • Driver with use of own car
  • The role is subject to a satisfactory DBS check and at least two satisfactory references, one of which must be from your most recent employer
