Role Overview

Position: Waking Night Community Support Worker (Complex)
Location: Plymouth
Hourly Rate: £8.80

Hours: Variety of Hours Available
Preferred: Driving Licence

L is an autistic adult with a sleep disorder who lives in the Plymstock area and has a number of interests including using the water taxi, music (especially drumming), technology (iPads & phones) and visiting Dunhelm Mill, the City Centre and the Hoe / Barbican.

L needs robust, consistent and patient staff members as there can be times when he becomes anxious / distressed resulting in self harm and (potentially) aggression towards others. MAPA (Management of Actual and Potential Aggression) training will be provided as part of induction.
